Towards the Issue of Social Inequality of the Population of the Republic of Kalmykia in the conditions of the Transformation of the Russian Society

Abstract
The article considers the socio-economic characteristics of Kalmykia affecting social inequality of the population. The results of opinion polls identifying the main lines of differentiation of the population are analyzed at the regional level.
