First Contacts of Kalmyks with Public Authorities and Population of Astrahan in the Beginning of the 30-s of XVII Century
Abstract
The article is devoted to the fi rst contacts of the Kalmyks with government bodies and population of Astrakhan in the early of 30-s of the XVIIth century. Basing on new archival materials in this article the author tries to trace the chronology of events in the development of the Russian-Kalmyk relations in the region of Astrakhan.
