Kalmyk Paremias of Speech Behavior in the Light of Present-Day Linguopragmatics
Abstract
The article is devoted to the researching of peculiarities of communicative behavior of the Kalmyks refl ected in paremiological units of this language. Being national stereotypes, paremias determine the participants communicative behavior (distance and convergence strategies). However, they refl ect the universal rules of verbal behavior, G. Grices and G. Leechs maxims.
