Migrant Communities: Factors of Consolidation (according to the towns of Republic of Sakha (Yakutia))

Abstract

The article examines the ethnic and social transformation under the conditions of intensive industrial development of the North. The author concludes that the consolidation of migrants and residents in towns Lensk, Mirny, Yakutsk depends on the duration of their stay, conditions of entry into the family and marriage relationships, formed expectations of welfare / obstacles in provision of the necessary facilities.
