Biological peculiarities and Structure of Natural Populations of Iris Scariosa Willd. ex. Link
Abstract
The article defines the modern area of species of Iris scariosa Willd. ex Link in the Republic of Kalmykia, the ecological and coenotic confoundedness of iris leathery, life cycles and seasonal rhythm of its development, regional and age structure. It investigates the reproductive aspects of the species (seed and vegetative reproduction). The measures for the conservation and the usage of its intraspecific diversity are proposed.
