Abstract
The article examines the issues of socio-political situation in the Kalmyk ASSR in 1943, after the liberation from German occupation. The author notes that on the conclusion of the Central Committee of the CPSU(b) in the activity of the Kalmyk Oblast Committee of the CPSU(b) in this period there were serious shortcomings, that’s why had disagreements the leadership of the Kalmyk ASSR which entailed hard consenquences for the autochthonous population.

Abstract
The article gives an analysis of the legislation regulating the legal status of special resettler in the 40– 50s in the USSR. The author concludes that due to the undertaken actions of the referred settlement normative and legal base is created, which contradicts to the basic provisions of the Constitution of the USSR.

Abstract
The article considers the peculiarities of the demographic situation prevailing during the period of illegal deportation of the Kalmyk people in the eastern regions of the country. The author gives information on the number of exiled Kalmyks, geography of their settlement, analyzes the reasons for the mass deaths of the elderly, children, women in places of settlement. The article concludes that the forced resettlement of the Kalmyk ethnos led to irreversible demographic and cultural losses, which have not been overcome and output currently.

The influence of the deportation on the sociocultural system of the Kalmyk ethnos and the ethnic identity’s conservation in the conditions of the referred sattelment are examined in the article. The interaction of two oppositely directed processes is determined of the adaptation and preservation of the ethnicity in the condition of special regime of Kalmyks’ life in exile is defined.

Abstract
The article discusses the state of school education in the republic before forced relocation of the Kalmyks. It is noted that in this period has been undoubtedly achieved some success in school affairs. However, the war and the deportation of the Kalmyk people adversely affected the educational level of the population, significantly worsened the material-technical base of schools, teaching staff capacity. After the return from exile the number of school children was almost twice less than in the pre-war period.

Abstract
The article generalizes experience of personal observation and appreciation of phenomena relating to the deportation of Kalmyks and ethnic repressions of 1940s years and later time in the USSR as part of the internal policy of the USSR, which have left an remarkable trace in interethnic relations and culture. The author notices that these problems need deep interdisciplinary complex research. He also pays attention to destiny of the pilot Kalmyk Vladimir Khomutnikov, together with crew committed his feat and died on August, 10th, 1945 in whose biography there are opening many ambiguities, and distortions open.

The article analyses a number of publications devoted to the problems of forced relocation of peoples and gives substantiation of necessity of observance of the constitutional imperative (requirement) of values of legal state and human rights in the study of the history of the deportation and the rehabilitation of repressed peoples. According to the author, this issue is a part of the overall problem of de-Stalinization of the Russian society.
