Abstract
The questions of the interethnic relations are considered in the article on the basis of the analysis of results of monitoring of ethnoconfessional and cross-cultural interaction in the Republic of Kalmykia. The authors come to the conclusion that the identification of ethnic and cultural characteristics of the region will allow to define its specificity, to carry out forecasting of interethnic and interfaith relations at the meso level.

Abstract
The article is devoted to the history of formation of the trade union of workers of education of Kalmykia (Rabpros). In 1921 after registration of the Kalmyk regional council of trade unions, branch trade unions received organizational registration. The author marks that Rabpros’s trade union had same tasks, as trade unions of all countries as a whole: to increase the number of members, to fight against illiteracy, to protect interests of workers.

Abstract
On the basis of the analysis of details of carrying out of the bride in the Kalmyk wedding rite a reconstruction of delivery of the dead on a horse to a place of burial and a co-burial of a horse by traditions of the pre-Buddhist beliefs is carried out in the article. For comparison data on ethnography of the Turkic-Mongolian peoples and archeological sources (the gold case from the Siberian collection of Peter I) are provided.

Abstract
The article is devoted to the rounded vowels in the Anatri dialect of Chuvash which correspond to the unrounded «y» and «i» in Standard Chuvash. The author found that in some cases these vowels are reflexes of labial vowels оf Proto-Turkic language. In other cases, labial «y» and «i» are the result of secondary labialization.

The authors conclude that in Kalmyk song texts kinship terms play a key role among the means of marking the lexical semantics of «male».

The article is devoted to consideration of iranism sardar in the language of Russian artistic and documentary literature. The author comes to the conclusion that despite of full grammatical adaptation in Russian, the word sardar has not developed semantically and remained as an oriental exoticism.

The article analyzes the primary sociological data collected among pupils, representatives of the indigenous minorities of the North, in Yakutsk, Neryungri and Aldan of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The author notes that the main factors of adaptation to city conditions for different groups of youth are receiving education, expansion of a circle of contacts, improvement of living conditions, independence of parental guardianship. The survey revealed that, in general, in adaptation groups most trouble cause lack of parental control, unsatisfactory living conditions, the complexity of structuring everyday life.

The article considers the degree of anthropogenic transformation of natural landscapes. Based on the analysis of quantitative indicators and expert ballroom assessments the severity of environmental problems in the Republic of Kalmykia is evaluated. The author estimated the territorial structure of morbidity and mortality on a set of indicators (tumors, congenital malformations).
