The analysis of material received as the result of sociological surveys revealed that the most demanded kinds of social identity among the Kalmyks, the title nation, and the Koreans living in Kalmykia are as follows: age, professional, ethnic and local.

Abstract
The article deals with the typological transformations of fairytale motif about a wise girl (a daughterin- law or a daughter), received the wide circulation in Оirats fairytale folklore. By comparison of various fairytales the author uses already known materials and her own fi eld records. In the course of the analysis it has been revealed that one of essential elements of such plot is the motif of a diffi cult problem, connected with a number of other motifs which form compositional peculiarities of different variations of fairytale and heroines art character

This article analyzes the content of the Bagatsohurovsky cycles original songs, which revealed a complete set of existing motifs from different plot narratives. There were found out from analysis of motif fund that in the song «About victory of the renowned khan Dzhangar over the ferocious Kharа Kines» there were the largest amount of different motifs which are necessary to research for comparative and diachronic analysis.

Abstract
В 2010 г. исполнилось 100 лет со времени издания десяти песен «Джангара», записанных у джангарчи Ээлян Овла (1857-1920). Песни зафиксировал и подготовил к изданию студент четвертого курса Санкт-Петербургского университета Номто Очиров, ученик известного востоковеда профессора В. Л. Котвича. Труд Номто Очирова был высоко оценен В. Л. Котвичем, который впоследствии в статье «Джангариада и джангарчи» отмечал: «Открытие новых песен «Джангара» произвело немалую сенсацию в научных кругах столицы. Особенно важно то, что на этот раз удалось записать целый цикл песен, представляющих собой органическое целое, в то время как раньше исследователи имели дело с отдельными песнями» [1, c. 197-198].
