Abstract
The article is dedicated to the planned cattle delivery to the Russian army during the First World War in the Kalmyk steppe of the Astrakhan gubernia and in the Bolshederbetovsky ulus of the Stavropol province. Carried out under the pressure of guardian administration, they have seriously undermined the welfare of the population of Kalmykia.

Abstract
The article is devoted to the case indicator -a:/-o:/-e: which one can find in the texts of the old Kalmyk written works dating back to XVIII century, for instance in the official documents. According to its lexical-grammatical form, this case corresponds to the archaic Mongol dative-locative case which one can find in such written texts as “The Secret History of the Mongols” (XIII c.) and “Altan Tobchi” (XVIII c.). Though, in its meanings it matches both the dative-locative and linking cases.

Abstract
The article deals with the results of the contrastive study of word families in the Kalmyk and the Russian languages. The structure of different types of nests belonging to different languages has much in common. In word families of the Kalmyk language one can find the same motivation and non motivation relations of single-root words which are common for the Russian word families. The volume of the word families depends on the wealth of the lexical meaning of the vertex word and its derivatives.

Abstract
The paper presents comparative analysis of the case forms in Dagur and Buryad. The author gives interpretation of ways of development of these forms from possible comments on how the case markers developed from common Mongolic state. The analysis lets us to ascertain the formal similarity of markers in Dagur and Buryad, which is due to the common origin. Above all the Dagur language has retained a number of archaic features, which Buryad lacks.

Abstract
The article presents a data of the “stone sutras” which are an integral part of the written and spiritual heritage of the Oirats. The description of the texts on “Clear Script” which were found out on six stones in one of residing areas of Xinjiang Oirats is given. It is shown that on five stones texts from “Vajracchedika-Sutra”, on one — Buddhist mantra “Om ma ni pad me hum” are beaten out.

Abstract
The article observes some toponyms of Oirat origin which occur nowadays on the Chinese territory of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. The subject of field study is an Oirat toponymic landscape, a set of the names of rivers, lakes, landforms, settlements, etc. as a verbal expression of the geographical landscape of the area. The main focus of the article is Oirat hydronymy (the names of the rivers and lakes). Presenting ethnolinguistic interpretation of the field data gathered during the expedition to China in 2012 the author reveals predominance of hydronymic system in the given area.

Abstract
The article contains the analysis of research of a craniological series from the Bukeevsky steppe’s burial mounds localised in the Volga-Ural interflow. According to the archaeological data these materials were dated from the 14th century — an epoch of the Golden Horde age. In the paper in order to relate Bukeevsky steppe’s nomads to other groups of medieval population of Eastern Europe and cross-border areas the comparative analysis of the craniological series (from the 2nd millennium AD) was carried out.
