Abstract
The article deals with the less-investigated and debatable problem of the formation of the Durben-Oirat alliance in post – Yűan period in Mongolia. There were until recently two opposing points of view on it in the historiography – hypercritical and bringing forward to remote ages. At the end of XX century the Oirat historical work «The history of Kho-Orlog» was found, that allowed to prove the existence of that alliance and to reveal three periods in its history.

Abstract
The article describes the periodization of changing of number of the Stavropol Kalmyk Army and factors which exerted influence on the growth and decrease of dynamics of population. In conclusion the author infers that the decrease of number of troops had promoted the adoption of the decree about disbandment of the Stavropol Kalmyk Army of 1842 and affiliation of the Stavropol christened Kalmyks to the Orenburg Cossack Army.

The article presents the results of the comparative study of the color-denoting lexic in two chapters of the Xinjiang-Oirat and Kalmyk versions of epos «Dzhangar». As a result of the analysis it was stated that the most commonly used were lexeme ulan (red) and khar (black), than followed words with semantics color white, yellow, blue, light blue, green and grey.

Abstract
The article deals with the usage of the construction ne ja/ty li + a noun or an adjective in the Russian texts. It is used for the expression of polar addresser’s emotions (discontent, disappointment, joy, admiration). A rhetorical question that has a characterization of an addressee (you are an X, aren’t you?) or an addresser (I am an X, aren’t me?) dictates to a listener the certain understanding of specific of his communicative relations with the addresser. The addressee is deprived of any rights to describe an addresser by himself; an addressee has to agree with arguments or argue against them basing not on the addresser's point of view but as a result of pressing of addresser on him.

Abstract
The article deals with cultural and national connotation of collocations “white road” (Tsagan Khaalg). There is concluded that this language sign undoubtedly has ethnic and cultural specific secured in its genre realization. On the basis of analysis of inner form of the phraseological unit which is according to the author is option is the represent of two basic concepts of the Kalmyk linguistic culture — “Road” (way) and “Fate” (life way).

The article represents, our find out the causes of communicative failures occurring in the process of collecting of dialect vocabulary of certain thematic dialog forms of speech contenting from replics of collectors and verbal reactions of informants are materials of for this researting. Some of these verbal reactions illustrate the concept of communicative failure, causes of which are varied: from extra-linguistic, cultural and psychological to precisely linguistic connected with the differences in language competence of collectors and informants.

Abstract
The article deals with the image of Narma Shapshukova, a Kalmyk woman, a participant of the Civil war, in the context of her biography in Alexander Isbakh’s short story «Narma Shapshukova» and the novelet «Кalmichka» (Kalmyk woman) of the same author. The romanticism of the woman’s heroic in war refl ected the main tendencies in the representation of historic and revolutionary theme in the Soviet literature, including in A. Isbakh’s prose.

Abstract
The article examines the concept harm as one of the concepts of the Russian national consciousness. The author focuses on the content and functioning of this concept in the Russian literary language and in the texts of advertising. The reconstruction of concept is done through the revelation and description of the stereotypical conception of the Russian-speakers, connected with the concept of harm. The materials for analysis served as paremias, texts printed and electronic media and advertising texts on labels of vodka products.

The article defines the modern area of species of Iris scariosa Willd. ex Link in the Republic of Kalmykia, the ecological and coenotic confoundedness of iris leathery, life cycles and seasonal rhythm of its development, regional and age structure.
